Passing along a comment made over on the Sage Advice Forums from Carl Sewens:

Hi guys, Chris Perkins here, the author of Dust of Montezuma, brought over to the PanDome by Pathfinder Editor/Master Game Designer Brian Cook. So, I understand that Pathfinder has a preview module, so there’s no way to release Montezulego today. As such, I’m including the PDF version of Montezulego in the download, you will need to use the Pathfinder Playtest Rulebook to play. That said, everyone should have the game ready to go by next week and everything should be ready and set to go as planned.

Now… to the basic question at hand. WIll you take the ruins module out of the box? If so, which version?

We’ve been testing the game extensively on our own personal groups and in the development forum, and have a fairly solid version out on the official Playtest site, but, given that the game is officially RT in print, will you be making a print version of the module too?

Yes, for sure, it’s the first stop on most Paizo adventures. Third party publishers have some trouble with that because they think of it as cannibalization, but the extra cost is often minimal. I run most of my own books right now.

With the line between print and digital growing ever thinner, would you be willing to consider having third party publishers print the physical worldbook versions of the game?

Absolutely. My first task will be to make sure everybody can print the book without looking at the PDF.
