AutoCAD uses a graphic, user interface (GUI) design paradigm, where commands are controlled using widgets (visual control objects), which can be dragged and dropped onto the computer desktop. History
Before AutoCAD, most CAD programs ran on mainframe computers, such as IBM mainframe-based or minicomputer-based systems, which typically used either vector graphics or raster graphics. The ability to create drawings required an operator to work at a graphics terminal, creating each drawing from scratch.
In 1981, Autodesk developed AutoCAD for the Apple II platform, using PostScript and bitmapped graphics. The first official release of the software was on December 15, 1982, with development starting in July 1980, and release targeted for December 1981. The name AutoCAD is a contraction of the words « automated conceptual design » (although the term « computer-aided design » existed in AutoCAD’s early days). AutoCAD sold a few hundred units, and the company hired several university students to beta-test the program, which was offered for $99 plus shipping.
The 1982 AutoCAD 2.0 release came with a limited number of geometric objects. The program did not include any solids or dimensions. Although AutoCAD 2.0 was a desktop app that ran on a PC, it was the first CAD program that could run in a DOS window

Default constructor for mapped-superclass vs. mapped superclass
I have a class that is a mapped superclass (e.g. through Hibernate). The problem I’m having is the fact that the Default constructor is being called for the mapped superclass’s properties while my constructor is being called for the ones of my actual class.
