Storyline:
You are a Dinosaur living in a dim and dreary natural world. When you are small and new you observe the world with utmost wonder and delight. But as you grow and mature you notice a change. It seems to you that the world is cold and boring. On top of that, the world is full of danger, with the animals around you are dangerous and want to eat you. Eventually you are forced to venture outside and find some way to survive.
DinoFense takes players into that world at the dawn of time, a period when all animals are still new. Only you, and a few of your Dinozens, have evolved to the point where you can travel and battle for the sake of survival.
Player’s Goal:
At the beginning of each level, the player is given a task to complete (be it help dinozens over cliffs, or find and protect the Dinozens) and will be scored on the completion of the task. The player will be awarded Power Ups for the tasks he/she performs, as well as a higher score for winning every level. Players will also be able to unlock special power ups, such as ‘Plate Armor’ which prevents damage from enemies, to help them battle in the cold environments. To unlock these power ups, players will be needed to defeat Dinozens (which can only be captured if they battle the enemy) or defeat the ‘boss’.
Gameplay:
DinoFense features an arcade-style gameplay where the player is forced to move and battle enemies that are randomly placed on the landscape. Players will be forced to assess the landscape around them and find ways to take cover and to strategically capture and battle enemy Dinozens. When capturing Dinozens (which are colored Blue, Green, Red, Yellow, or White) they will be used as parts on your Dinozens.
