The simple answer is just like yzrzych said, it’s actually just like « Herman » but in 2D.

Problems:

The controls are not on par with the original and a generic controller.
The score is not as high as the original. There are only 9 achievements, and you could easily get them for a lower score.

Overall, like you said, it’s just like « Herman » just 2D.

Coop/Multiplayer is an interactive board game. Your goal is to get the most reward in the safest and highest number of turns. Players play at the same time in real-time, can complete the round in less than 30 seconds. Each player has a separate game board with an activity loop on a shared screen.

General:
The game will be played on paper with a pen. So if you are a pen user, you are all set. If you are new to Coop/Multiplayer, don’t worry. Just write as much as you can in a number of minutes and you will be ready to go. You don’t need to be a fast writer. We will be playing a rhythm game and waiting for you to keep up with us as you write, so being slow is fine.

You can choose between one of two difficulty modes of writing: one that progresses slowly (but in the order you type) and one that progresses rapidly (but in random order).

The writing will be done on a shared screen. To be clear, that means you will be looking at a piece of paper. But all the players’ writing will be displayed on the screen at once. There will be a common screen, but you will be following the board, not the movement of the other players.

Mechanics:
Players will take turns in real time. That means there is no time limit. If you are done writing and another player is about to write, the board will be empty and you can interact with it and start writing as soon as your turn is up. The order that players write and how fast they do it is random and independent. So if you want to write a really fast, high-quality product, you can do it. If you want to write a long, thoughtful piece, you can do that too. It doesn’t matter what you write, as long as you write.

Money:
There is a global pool of money. Everyone starts out with the same amount. During the game, players will spend this money and earn more. Players will get additional money as it is spent or for completing certain tasks. It can also be stolen.

The round will end when everyone has the same amount of money (or when there is none left). The game will automatically end when the round ends, but you can choose not to.
