Previously, I had been experiencing some problems uploading images to ImageShack. I had written a log file to help me diagnose the problem.
QuickShot 3.0 now includes a log file option that you can use to show the number of images taken.
The program also now includes some minor UI changes.
One of the most common and annoying problems that I have is that after uploading an image, the program immediately opens the window asking for a password when the program is just supposed to close.
I have now created some code to open the program and then close it.
What’s New In?
All images uploaded on ImageShack are tagged with their creation time, URL and comment.
ImageShack allows you to view all screenshots tagged with a particular user and sort them by date or with the last comment.
ImageShack also lets you view a list of sorted images by categories.
So, a simple search on ImageShack can let you find a pic by its title or dates. However, the program doesn’t provide quick access to the older images and misses the ability to search for images directly.
Now, you can try a basic search from the ImageShack site and then view the results on the online gallery of the program. But you can’t access all images without logging in or registering. So, it’s worth to try at least the image search feature from ImageShack.
Similarly, ImageShack, while helpful for beginners, is not very convenient for experts. It requires logging in in order to search for and view older images.
But thanks to its clean UI and easy ways to upload, ImageShack is worth a try for people who want to share their work online but who are not frequent users of online photo sharing sites.
