I have a problem in the app I’m working on. There is a table with values in it. Each value in the table is a link of a form that asks some question. On clicking that link, it sends a question through POST method to the controller ‘q_points_controller.rb’ and the method in the controller is ‘questions.rb’. The URL of the page is changed to /questions/id-here but it doesn’t receive the parameters.
My index page just has a link with the same name as the URL of the page in the table. When I click it, it sends a GET request and gets the value from the URL and prints it. So the problem is that it tries to send a POST request and not a GET request.
Is there any way in which I can send a GET request on clicking that link in my table?

If you’re using a link, it will actually be a GET request, since that’s the default method. In fact, this is the default Rails behaviour.
If you were going to use a link, you’d have to explicitly tell the browser to make it a POST. This is normally accomplished by using an .
