Steam Workshop allows fans to download and play a wealth of new content created by a vibrant community of over 100,000 members. The community provided content is also accessible via the Steam website, a Steam-powered community marketplace.
New content will be added to the game routinely, and fans can look forward to a vast array of scenarios, maps, missions and more, all created by the community in a wide variety of styles, periods and themes.

Each month, we bring you a discussion of 5E with a fantasy gaming twist. When I was growing up playing D&D, I spent a lot of time playing random tables with my friend’s older brother. We always had a great time, and I somehow convinced him to teach me how to game and playtable D&D. Within the first couple of days I was on the Monks, and I quickly learned that the maths were similar to school and on I went. My primary interest was the game within a game – backstory. Hell, I even took the Monk class in college. When Fifth Edition was initially announced, I did not know that the game had changed so much. My conversations with my brother still continued, but the new format had me doubting everything I had learned about the game.
Fifth Edition, as many of you probably know, is a new streamlined D&D set of rules. With a singular feat entry mechanism and a single-ability display, the old of ways D&D system is starting to become a relic. So me experimenting with a new system was a little interesting. What we ended up doing was modifying an old game I was playing with my brother that took place in the same world as D&D, the land of Fey. I started “translating” the rules from a Sixth Edition game setting book, but I needed to ensure the accuracy. I did not want to derail my table (Right now, 25 people play with me, and we have been together for over 10 years), and I also did not want to create a whole new setting where I was forced to learn the rules. I also do not know if it is fair to create a new setting unless I can translate the rules. I have not decided how I will handle this yet, but I wanted to ask what you all have noticed about this 5th Edition so far.
As we know, the Fey are the humanoid inhabitants of the most dangerous parts of the world. The Fey are people who reside mainly in their own homes, dealing with every day concerns, and rarely venturing outside of their homesteads. Because of this, they lack the destiny of their D&D counterparts. A wizard confers their fate to them upon a soul sign that only exists for each of the 15 subcultures.
