How to sync app with phone on Android
I am building a notepad app for mobile as a hobby. For this app the user should be able to create a text file and the following data is stored in the text file:
File name
File content
The user should be able to add, edit and delete the text file via my app.
The following screen is necessary to be shown upon app start:
The user should be able to select, add and delete files from file system via my app.
The user should be able to search for the files inside the file system via my app.
The user should be able to download the files from the file system of his/her own.
The user should be able to navigate the file system and search by date, file size, file type etc.
I am using a Java/Android App to do this.
Any suggestions on how to start? I tried searching the web and found some info but every example uses SQLite database.

When Naoya’s childhood friend and co-worker, Ichigo, comes up with a plan to increase the volume of the café by having Naoya form an idol group with his two co-workers: Mayuki and Kuu.
Naoya, Mayuki and Kuu form Sweet Shoreline, and together with the help of Ichigo they start to make a name for themselves in the process of increasing the volume of the café.
Honey Devil, a rival idol group, also has their eyes set on Sweet Shoreline and wants to knock them off their perch.
There is a few glitches with Naoya’s plans though: Naoya has a bad habit of being over-cautious, and creating these weird and complex stories is not exactly his forte. Naoya’s clumsiness and the titular character’s delusions of grandeur don’t make for an easy-going story.
