I’m considering casting my vote for this one.
This trailer is pretty epic (in an « M-rated » sort of way), and the high-fantasy inspiration is pretty fantastic.
Gears of War 2 was truly the a thing of legend until it’s release (even now it’s still an online phenomenon), so a similar tale seems like quite the ride.
The worlds are interesting, I see tons of action to look forward to, and I’m up for this one.
I do have to say some of the art direction strikes me as kind of bland. The light effects could be better…
For me it’s all about the fact that it’s a great brand that I’m happy for the people involved with it to continue on to the next chapter and hopefully also to one day make a Gears 5.
