SUMMARY – Elden Ring is an action RPG set in a world whose lore and history is somewhat ambiguous. It’s a game that places the player in a post-apocalyptic world in an enormous and detailed world where you play as one of five different classes, each one with different stats and skills. You’ll gain experience levels by killing monsters and defeating bosses, and unlock more abilities with experience points. Each character has a passive stat called Jewels that you can upgrade, which in turn upgrades your passive abilities. While you can upgrade your abilities yourself, upgrading them requires equipment, skills, money, and time. And if you die, your Jewel progression comes to a halt.

ELDEN RING gameplay is streamlined and easy to understand: you’ll fight huge, unique monsters, collect loot and experience points, and upgrade abilities as you go. But while it does flow smoothly, the gameplay of Elden Ring can be repetitive.

With well over 100 quests, 400 items, 25 weapons and armor, and a healthy variety of monsters that you can fight, you’ll find yourself in a constant cycle of backtracking and hunting monsters through a very large world. You’ll eventually upgrade weapons, armor, and abilities as you go, but the upgrades themselves require real money to buy them.
