« Elden Ring » (hereinafter referred to as « the game ») is the first fantasy action role playing game developed by OIYA Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as « OIYA »). The game is set in the epic Lands Between created by the authors of FINAL FANTASY, GOLDEN LANDS, etc.
The world of the game is a vast and infinite landscape, where players are free to freely travel as they please in order to defeat the darkness consuming the Lands Between.
Set in a world where the balance of nature has long been destroyed, humanity is on the brink of extinction. In order to save the world, the hero will be forced to enter the Lands Between, the place where the old has become the new.

Elden Ring
This game looks great! The world looks very well drawn and in full 3D. Maybe a little too much going on, but other than that it really looks very good. The game gives a pretty good tutorial, but after that you will have to come to terms with figuring things out and working through them on your own as the game is fairly open in terms of how you can get things done. The grinding has a bit of a problem though, as on PS4 I managed to get to level 11 by constantly falling into the pit while trying to grind up to level 12, and on PC the problem seems to be even worse.
The problem I have with the game is that the enemies and the enemies’ tactics seem far too easy for a game that is billed as a fantasy action RPG. Yes, I know there are no levels and the enemies come in waves, but there is just a total lack of challenge. I think this is something that just comes down to too much being on display. There are not many main quests you can undertake, but rather you gain levels and then go off and do as many sidequests as you can. There are far too many enemies to focus on and far too many things you have to do to kill them. It is just too easy to kill these guys all day long.
All of the problems I have with the game are far more due to an incredibly easy difficulty level than anything else. If you were to have a masochist playing your game and going about it with a monomaniacal devotion to leveling up, there is a very real chance that you will just find yourself getting killed over and over again. There is nothing in this game that would be considered more of a challenge, because there is nothing that would take advantage of the fact that you have a high level character. It does get somewhat tedious killing the same enemies over and over again, as they are all weaker by a point or two per level. If you compare to the PS4 version of the game, the PC version is much easier to play. I am all for pushing the limits in a game, but at some point the game just has to tell you that you have passed that point and that it is OK to stop bothering trying to kill something.
For the most part the game has fine gameplay though. The controls can be a little finicky at first, but they do a good job of educating you as to how to use the controller without getting in the way

1. Download and install WinRAR.
2. Copy and paste « DL » folder to C:/ or C:\Windows
3. Run ELDEN RING game as Administrator
4. Close ELDEN RING game without saving any data
