In a world full of myths and legends, one a place where the world has yet to be fully discovered, a mysterious phenomenon is occurring. People are falling out of the sky, being attacked by monstrous creatures, and falling to certain death. Their screams can be heard throughout the entire lands, and, in an instant, the landscape is plunged into silence.
This mysterious event is called “Transition,” and its origin remains a mystery. The Elden Ring is charged with protecting this world, and their adventures begin here.
The Elden Ring is comprised of a variety of races, each with different characteristics and skills. The Elden Ring’s leader is Lina Inverse. Through a series of disasters in their world, Lina received a power known as the « Elden Ring » from the goddess of fate, which is an essence that brings order into the chaos. In accordance with this ability, Lina is able to sense the chaos, and she uses this power to guide the world and the people of the Lands Between in their quest for knowledge.
Lina gave the goddess of destiny her « Sword of Destiny. » It is a sword-shaped object that has a sacred aura, and it can change into a variety of different weapons, including a variety of spears, swords, and axes.
Everyone who wishes to become an Elden Lord must take on the task of protecting the Lands Between from monsters and barriers that threaten the world. The part of this world that is protected by the Elden Ring is called the « Lands Between. » Within the Lands Between, the world remains protected from monsters and chaotic anomalies, but no one knows when it will end. There are times when the strange things that occur in the Lands Between are simply incomprehensible.
For this reason, the Elden Ring is required to keep a special group of people, the Elden Lords, who guard the Lands Between in secret. However, beyond the times of chaos and the threats from monsters, the Lands Between is an unknown world with abundant opportunities for adventure. The in-game world will consist of the entire Lands Between, where you must explore for new places and new experiences.
